I’m Macyn I’m an 18 year old fine artist and my art is a direct reflection of me. My emotions really guide what I make as my pieces are little parts of me.
Art is how I deal with pain, love, happiness, sadness, and everything else that hits me in life. Recently I’ve had to over come a big hurdle in my life so art is how I've been able to deal with that pain as I can put myself in a fantasy world for just a brief moment.
Yet I can also reach down and accept that pain and display it on canvas. While I do love vibrant colors, sometimes I dial it back when I’m feeling a little blue or a little less enthusiastic.
I love having an outlet as it allows me to escape while I work on that particular piece and I know that the love will never stop. I love painting, that’s my basis, but I’m learning to love all mediums including making clothes from my work.
